Kil-Bottle Night
Kilchoman, the Islay distillery so small and new that I've ridden in the backseat of a sedan with the founder, Anthony Wills. But Kilchoman has grown up fast, and those in the know will happily purchase a bottle even though they have only aged a few years. San Diego, it's time you've met Kilchoman. Deanston/Ledaig at San Telmo
San Diego Scotch Club will be visited by John Pauley who will be presenting a great lineup of Deanston and Ledaig. Ledaig is the peated line of Tobermorys (just as Longrow is to Springbank) and has been quietly known in whisky circles for years as underappreciated and delicious. Our…
Find out more »Irish Whiskey Night
Ireland has been making whiskey for hundreds (or more) years and it's about time that the club took a peak at what they are doing. SDSC has teemed up with Dublin Square for a unique night of Irish fun. We are going to be in the Gaslamp district in our own private space to taste four Irish whiskies and a cocktail. The evening will include one appetizer, an ounce each of four whiskies and a choice of four cocktails that…
