Trent Simpson will be presenting one of our favorite distilleries, Bruichladdich. Bought, restored, re-imagined, and re-distilling over a decade ago, Bruichladdich was a leader in the new wave of whisky that swept a new generation into a love of single malts. Trent will tell us their story as well as pour us:
2010 Islay Barley
Black Art 5
Port Charlotte Scottish Barley 10
Port Charlotte 2011 Islay Barley
+1 New Port Charlotte Scottish Barley 10 bottle to take home
We’ll be selling these tickets a bit differently this time. The event is essentially free with a purchase of Port Charlotte Scottish Barley 10, supplied by event partner Wisam Moshe, director of sipwhiskey.com, that you get to take home. In addition, as an option, we are pouring the very rare bottles that helped put the revived Bruichladdich on the map. Blacker Still, Redder Still, and Golder Still, will be poured for an extra fee (at a sacriprice from one of our members.)
Appetizers will also be included.
See you in Islay, er, the gaslamp!
